The Perfect Sunscreen

If you want to know what sunscreen I’m using as people have been asking. This is the sunscreen which I use during my dive trips and on a daily basis when I go for my workout or when I go out with no makeup on. Just cleanse, tone, moisturize and apply the Extra Smooth Sun Protection Lotion (left) by Shiseido and I’m ready to go out. It really keeps me protected from the sun and best of all it is water resistant. Even though it is water resistant, I still have to reapply the sunscreen after each and every dive to make sure it doesn’t wear off.

The new WetForce technology BB for Sports (right) by Shiseido which I got it from Sephora gives a BB tinted sunscreen protection which provides coverage for achieving a flawless skin effect. Helps to camouflage uneven skin texture and tone. It has more protection coverage as compare to the other and is very water resistant. Just by exposing to water or perspiration for 30 minutes to get the product working for your skin. There are 3 shades to choose from; light, medium or dark. Looking good even under the sun playing sports or doing your workout. Both products work well for me.

Sand and Sky

The popular Sand and Sky pink clay mask have arrived. The product claims to detoxify, regenerate skin cells, shrink pores and helps brighten the skin. Recommended usage is twice weekly if you have oily to combination skin. For me, I just use it once a week because I have dry skin. Wouldn’t want to dry out my skin further using a clay mask. This is my first time using a clay mask. After application, I felt a little sting and tingle sensation over the area above my lips. Probably it’s because of my dry/sensitive skin. The feeling does not last long and overall I feel my skin tighten when the mask starts to dry and harden up. After 10 minutes, viola! Skin is so refresh and smooth. Will definitely use this mask twice a week for tightening my pores. The only downside to this product is that the clay will dry and harden up if kept for too long. That is what clay mask is all about. Get your besties kit now and say hi to brilliant skin. What’s best that Sand and Sky is offering free worldwide delivery.

Protect your Hermes Birkin and Kelly

My Outer Bag is selling bag protector for your beloved Hermes Birkin and Kelly. Great for travelling and serve as a protector against dirt or scratches. This has always been a concern for me when carrying luxury bag as I travel and while during security scan checks at airport custom. It is waterproof and protects your bag from the rain. There are different sizes and a wide range of colors to choose from for your bag. But you can’t choose a different strap color to go with the protector as the protector color you choose comes with the strap color that is fixed to it. You may even select either the silver or gold hardware to match your bag hardware color. When I’m not travelling, it can also be used as a protector for storage. And not to worry as it won’t damage the leather. But not suitable as a storage for shiny / vernis leather as it might stick against the protector. Carry now in ease and peace.

Bird Bird Cafe

Yes…you heard it! The Bird Bird Cafe at Frankel Avenue near Upper East Coast Road. A simple yet American-style fried chicken restaurant. This hidden Jem is definitely worth your time to drop by. I’m pretty amazed by how good and delicious their food is. And this is a dog-friendly cafe whereby your pooches are able to seat at their outdoor seatings. The staffs are very friendly and offered water in a dog bowl for my dog. Do check them out as soon as you can and you won’t be disappoint.

If you love laksa…

If you are a laksa lover like me, you definitely need to try the dry laksa at this Peranakan restaurant National Kitchen by Violet Oon located in National Gallery, Singapore. They do serve dry laksa during their Hi-tea but the portion is small. I would say the laksa flavoured is strong and delicious. And I'm now planning to go back try their lunch or dinner. Good place to dine in and the restaurant decor is classic and cosy. The ambience is good and service staff are friendly. It happens to be my Girlfriend's birthday and the service staff offered to prepare a surprise birthday cake for her. The staff even took pictures for us and printed it out as a gift for her to serve as a memory. For sure not a place to be missed!

The popular and nicer designs are so limited and difficult to get in Singapore. Outlet in Singapore only carries 2 or 3 pairs for each sizes. As for me, I’m wearing a size 38 which is always running out fast or sold out. Once it’s sold out, you might never get a chance to own them unless you find it elsewhere in other countries.

Jeffrey Campbell

My second pair from Jeffrey Campbell. This pair is a last minute selection. Actually thought of getting the pair with spill oil design, but the collar of the shoes is too loose for me. I like this Calf Dina pretty much for it’s heels design. Only thing is that you could see the nails very clearly from the bottom. They have also in gradient black for the heels but the material of the shoes is suede. As for the gradient black, the nails are hidden perfectly if you were to see from the bottom. It was a tough decision to make, deciding on which one I should get. Sales staff also prefer and recommended the Calf Dina. And I ended up buying the Calf Dina. The more I wear them, the more I’m felling in love with it. Now I’m looking forward to my third pair. Wondering what shall I get next…

Jeffrey Campbell

My very first owned Jeffrey Campbell “Lita Daisy” lace up boot from P.V.S Singapore. You may look up Instagram @pvs_sg to see the collections they have. Not only Jeffrey Campbell footwear, P.V.S also bring in Dr Martens etc. The moment I saw Lita Daisy from @pvs_sg, I knew I need to go down P.V.S to take a look at the real stuff. I have only tried Lita Daisy among all the shoes they have and I knew that I want to get it right away. This is what I called Love at First Sight!
